Default HD DVD exclusives available on BR?

Can someone tell me all the HD DVD movies that are available in other countries on Blu-ray? Trying to prove a point in another forum:

His post:Also, it isn't just universal studios. Warner Brothers, and Paramount are still backing up HD DVD, as well as New Line Cinema, Weinstein, Tartan Video, the dozens of porn industrys, and so forth. Plus the HD DVD is region free, and the big advantage is the fact that 30% of Blu Ray movie exclusives are available on HD DVD in other countries (My friend bought all 3 terminators, all the rambos, equilibrium, and Harry Potter HD DVD's).

Mine:Universal is the only one completely supporting HD-DVD, the others you mentioned are releasing on both formats. The porn industry is also supporting Blu-ray, Debbie Does Dallas... Again (Vivid) is coming out in a couple weeks. The same can also be said about HD DVD exclusives (which there are hardly any of) being released on Blu-ray in foreign countries. Thats because in different countries different companies own the distribution rights. Also Harry Potter is Warner (neutral).

His reply:Not really, if it's true, then why don't you name some movies that have gone the way of the Blu Ray. Plus even if it were true, the Blu Ray has region lockout, so you really can't import them anyways, unless you get the player from that region, so you lose on that arguement.

Any help would be appreciated.

Off the top of my head: Cinderella Man (Universal), Scary Movie 4 (Weinstein), Brokeback Mountain, Hollywoodland (Universal), Bruce Almighty (Universal)

All my UK Region B imports play on my Region a US player: Exorcism of Emily Rose, Hostel, Hellboy.

Also there is a handful of BD imports available for HD-DVD and certainly not 30%. And ask him how much he paid for those with shipping and how long it took to get. What if he gets a defective? Gonna bring that back to the store for an exchange? And how's that PAL speedup sound on those Rambo discs?

I own "The Producers" on blu-ray from Japan. This hasn't been released in the U.S.A. yet. A U.S. release would be a HD-DVD exclusive as the U.S. distribution rights are with Universal Studios. Regional coding is not a problem in this case since both the U.S. and Japan are region "A". I have two region "B" discs that play perfectly fine on my U.S. Samsung: "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" and "Hostel". Sony has announced that all their future European releases will be all-region so they will also play on U.S. machines.
An example for the other way round I know of is the Lionsgate blu-ray exclusive "Basic Instinct", which will be released May 29 in the U.S. In Europe it has been released quite a while ago on HD-DVD (Studio Canal). However, I do not think that this will change anything with regard to the outcome of the format war: PS3 has sold extremely well in Europe, blu-ray will steamroll HD-DVD also in Europe in the months to come. The European studios, even if they all supported HD-DVD which is not the case, are way to small to have an impact on this development.

Thanks for all the help guys. This person in one breath is saying PS3 is trash because they're losing all they're exclusives and then in the next saying HD DVD is better. Go figure.

Sounds like the typical HD-DVD tool/shill to me.
