All time favorite Superhero - Blu-ray Forum

There are to many to start a poll but once the thread reaches a certain point i'll list the heros with most people saying they like them. Only type down your all time favorite and mabye a small explaination of why. My favorite is...... Go ahead start already!

I've always liked Hawkman (golden age/current) and Green Lantern.

Hawkman is an imortal soul destined to be reincarnated over and over finding his true love and losing her. Add in the wings and ancient history/weapons it just always struck a chord.

Green Lantern - well who the heck wouldn't want to have one of those rings.

Toss up between superman or wolverine

1. superman cuz he can fly (freedom) can't get hurt, and it don't hurt that the girls like him.

2. wolverine cuz he heals heck alot fast. And he just has that I don't give a dran attitiude. the unbreakable blades don't hurt either.

I know Gambit has alot of hater's, i've never comics,i watched the x-men animated series and my favorite was Gambit, i liked him more than Wolverine on the show.. so when i was a kid.. my favorite was always Gambit..he was the best. But of course now-ah-days I like Wolverine better than Gambit because of the movies, im sure Wolverine will be cooler than Gambit in Wolverine's movie.. But my favorite now is Batman, all because of TDK..................So to sum up, thanks to Sat. morning cartoons,my favorite when i was younger was "Gambit", and now, because of the film industry, it"s The Dark Knight "Batman"

Nightwing, Wally "The Flash" West, and Iceman. They were just the ones I tended to relate to growing up, and my appreciation for the characters never faded. I think the fact that they all started out as extremely young characters and actually aged and grew up was the main attraction for me.

Not supposed to count as a hero but Magneto but if I have to choose a hero I would go with Batman the Jeff Loeb and Jim Lee version being my favorite.

I was always partial to Superman when Christopher Reeves played the character. But after he became paralyzed in real life it sort of diminished his appeal as the Man of Steel. Today superheros are a dime a dozen. However, I will select Christian Bale's portrayal of Batman as my current favorite.
