Ok I am confused here.
Reviews say 1080p for the BBC version with David Attenborough and that the Discovery Channel's version is 1080i. So I ordered Planet Earth from DD during the sale. Got it when I came home today. Back of slipcase says that the video is only 1080i. And that due to some difficulty in filming in some habitats, some parts of this is not filmed in full HD. 2 questions. 1, is this a packaging error and that my copy is 1080p or that there is a new version out that is only 1080i? 2, is this blurb about some parts not in full HD normal and was apart of the series from the get go? My copy came in a slipcase, has ISBN of 1-4198-5180-2 and UPC of 7-94051-40012-3. Back clearly states that it is with David Attenborough and that the packaging has BBC on it, along with 2 Entertain. |
