Default Sony 4.3 Firmware problem?

Had the Sony BR-300 for about a year - have not updated the firmware until last week when it became apparent that some new movies would not play. So I loaded the 4.3 firmware -- now those movies play -- but all movies are experiencing a point where the sound goes out and it starts skipping, then it goes normal, then starts skipping again. It is doing this with all Blu-Ray and regular DVDs I've tried. Anybody experience this? Any idea what is causing this already? Sony basically told us to ship it to them, but I'm wondering if others have an idea what might be causing this.

Hallo TBarnes,

I have done all the updates from Sony and last week I uploaded 4.3.

Up to now I have no problem, everything works fine.

Which was the first firmware to the 4.3?

This hopping sound are just starting to disk or even "in the midst"?

This was the first firmware update I did. The skipping and sound problems happen intermittently at random points throughout every movie I've tried. No problems with previews, etc..
