Being released by Concorde. Are they usually region free?

Thats good news, I liked the movie just wasn't fond of the US release. Tomb Raider 2 looks good and its a Concorde release as well

According to the liesinc site, EVERY Concorde release has been free so far. Its looking good.

Sprache: Deutsch (Dolby Digital 5.1), Englisch (Dolby Digital 5.1)

EDIT: Scrap that... Amazon REALLY need to do something about their Blu-ray listings...

Never go by the Amazon listings. They are usually wrong. At least in the US they do not list the lossless audio tracks.

I thought you meant the original Italian Job with Micheal Caine...

That's already been encoded to HD for TV transmission, so i'd love to know why it's sitting around in limbo

Any way to import this for fairly cheap? It was about $43 on Amazon.de. I love the movie and wouldn't mind double-dipping for a better picture, but not for that.

If this release really does have a better picture that is...

Also is it a good transfer. The older U.S. MPEG-2 video encode is really bad.

There's also a Japanese version coming out 4/1. Lossless audio on that as well...but it's about $50.

I've never seen the first Blu Ray version but from what I hear it's pretty bad. I love this movie so I might have to pick it up.

Unless there's a French version coming out anytime soon, I think I'll pick up this German version. Plus the artwork's a nice change:
