Default Subwoofer storage question

I will be gone for 18 months.

Will a subwoofer (wood) last in storage(not climate controlled) for 18 months ans still be good.

Or should I sell it ?

This is a high end subtable from Innovative Audio.

There are good wood preservers that you can buy from hardware stores. Also, cover the table well. I have had speakers and subwoofers in garage in extreme temperatures over 10 years with no significant damage to the wood or the woofer.

if possible, find a really big packet of silica beads (one that hasn't been exposed to a lot of air) and put the sub in plastic with the packet(or packets) as they will absorb any moisture inside the bag, preventing wood rot.
