Heck, no. The Costco sets are just as good as the retail models. I bought my 58" 768p Pany from Costco earlier this year, and love it! You can't beat their price, 90 day return policy and an extra year added to the manufacturer's warranty. Plus, if you aren't already a business member, I would recommend you spend the extra $50 to upgrade so you can use the Costco AMEX and get 2% cashback on your purchase. Since you're already planning on spending ~$1200 for a set, that's $24 of the $50 right there.

What a stupid comment to make. The guts of the set are the exact same thing, but you would spend significantly more and give up an extra year's warranty just because of the bezel? You go right ahead and do that...
