They are similar but not the same. The one you reference in your title seems to be more PC oriented since it has PC inputs and less "movie" features. Look here.

Heck, no. The Costco sets are just as good as the retail models. I bought my 58" 768p Pany from Costco earlier this year, and love it! You can't beat their price, 90 day return policy and an extra year added to the manufacturer's warranty. Plus, if you aren't already a business member, I would recommend you spend the extra $50 to upgrade so you can use the Costco AMEX and get 2% cashback on your purchase. Since you're already planning on spending ~$1200 for a set, that's $24 of the $50 right there.
