Default HD movies compared to HD demos
Have you ever noticed that HD movies, such as Pirates of the Carribean, are not nearly as clear and sharp as the HD demos they show to promote HD TV's. I witnessed this first hand at a Future Shop location. The salesperson told me it was because the demo was shot with a HD digital camera, where as the movie was shot with a conventional 35mm film camera. Any thoughts on this? Does this mean that to get true HD movies, producers need to start filming using HD digital cameras? If that's true, then it will be quite some time before we get true HD movies, since movie producers will continue to use 35mm film cameras.
