Resident Evil Degeneration Review (amateur)

Ok here is my very amateur review. This isn't mean't to be a pro review in any way but rather my thoughts on the film. I got an early release of the movie (I gots me sources )

Audio...Very good, nice solid punch to the TrueHD track. Vocals are clear and nice bass. Good use of surround. 4 out of 5 IMO

PQ...Very nice. Good vibrant colors with some amazing looking textures to the animation. Some slight color banding but that's what happens in animation especially with something this low budget (in comparison to Pixar etc..)

Plot....Now this is just my opinion, but wow!!! this was horrible. Semi-decent idea behind it but totally ruined by inane dialogue and atrocious dubbing. The voice actors were very obviously no names who work in direct to dvd dub work or worked for ADV in their anime department doing dubs . I watch crappy movies and love them. Especially animation, but I had to force myself to finish this one.

One thing that did annoy me and made the film look a little lame was the lip syncing. It wasn't off or anything but rather the mouths did not form the words very well. It looked like random lip movement instead of forming words which kinda stood out when you had amazing animation and then horrible lip movements looking stiff and un natural.
