Depp and Burton AGAIN - Blu-ray Forum

Tim Burton and Johnny Depp ALREADY have another joint project lined up after Alice in Wonderland!

According to legendary producer Richard D. Zanuck , Tim is set to direct Johnny in the film adaptation of the late 60-s 'gothic' TV soap, Dark Shadows, that he's overseeing.

We bet the upcoming flick's lady lead will be played by Helena Bonham Carter, right?

We're not complaining.

Burton + Depp + Bonham Carter has proven to be a winning formula!

Plus, we love vampires!!!

It's quite alright, I never really get tired of seeing a Johnny Deep movie, he is amazing as an actor.

Some of these must be either wrong or are going to be delayed. Nobody has the time to star in that many movies. Samuel L. is in a lot of movies, but he's usually a supporting actor which demands much less time.

I love Burton's movies from the 80's and mid 90's, but he's completely run out of ideas. His last 7 movies have been average to mediocre and even Johnny Depp couldn't help save them.

I have high hopes for Alice in Wonderland.

I used to watch reruns of Dark Shadows, hopefully it turns out well...

Speaking of Depp (though not Burton), I COMPLETELY forgot he was in 'Nightmare on Elm Street' until I saw the movie again last night. The acting in that movie (like many horrors) was absolutely abysmal!

i cant think of any other director/actor pair that works so well together. maybe deniro and scorsese. thats about it.

I hate that it's not being played by a young Alice. Besides that I'm hopeful.

There are loads of great director/actor pairs.
