Well, how much are you willing to spend? If all you can afford is $500, then yes, this is a good set for the money.

I decided to get the 37" N4000 over the 37"L4000. The N4000 is the same as the M4000 + 5.1 speakers.

Basically the difference is BE2 (Bravia Engine - 2nd Gen) and ACE (advanced contrast ratio). Well worth it, IMO.
