Default Help!

I am going to buy one movie and I can't decide. It's between Iron Man, Home Alone, Phone Booth, Wall-E, Talladaga Nights, Elf, Ice Age, Tropic Thunder, or Christmas Vacation.

Based on blu-ray picture quality and just overall film quality, which do you guys think I should get?

Wall E ! Check the blu ray movie ratings on this website if you want to narrow your search based on video quality and over all movie quality.

I've seen them, I was just hoping to get some more opinions on here.

Adding Iron Man!

PQ and AQ aside, one should consider a movie purchase on how great the movie itself is. That being said, from your list I say:

Elf
Wall•E
Ice Age (1 and 2)

Elf is great, but sadly, I've never seen Ice Age 1 or 2 or Wall-E. Are those three as good as everyone says they are?

Wall-E is definitely a must have, or so it seems to me.

Phone Booth, Home Alone, or National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Definitely Wall•E. With all the bonus material, you're likely to get the most time out of it. The documentary "A Pixar Story" is like have a 2nd movie included. Very interesting by the way.

Does Wall-E compare to Finding Nemo or is it not that good?

I wouldnt put too much stock in "MOVIE RATINGS" on this messageboard. Most of the reviews I have read are well.....lets just say, not well thought out. What are you buying anyway? A film that you would enjoy or something that just looks good on blu ray?

Same director. That should tell you something about Wall•E.

For me, I really love Finding Nemo, but Wall•E is just a little bit better. Not sure why, I just enjoy watching it more.

Most look good on blu-ray, so I guess just a good movie.

This is probably a stupid question, but I keep wondering this. Is there actual dialogue in Wall-E or is it just robot noises?

Both. The beginning is very visual and really has no dialogue. Once things get going and Wall•E is on the ship the people start talking. The robots basically just make "meaningful" robot noises.
