Question about problem with a game - Blu-ray Forum

Hi all,
I just got Lost Planet the other day for the PS3. I popped it in and it said updates available. I did all that. After it was finished it went into the game and had a popup about saves etc. I hit okay. Then a screen came up that said something like do you want to save, below it had a yes and no. the yes was highlighted. I clicked it and nothing happed. As a matter of fact it wouldn't even let me switch to no. Just kinda hangs there and does nothing. I have tried everything to get past this screen with no luck, so I can't play the game. Anyone had this problem? Anyone have a solution? PM me. Thanks in advance.

Delete save data and software data and re-download file again. Also you might want to try running it offline instead. Do not log in and see if the disk will let you run the story mode first, then try the online stuff by logging your psn name.

You may not have to delete your saved games, just anything in the game data folder.

Here's the thing. I haven't even played the game yet. It wouldn't go past that screen I mentioned with the Yes/No choice.
