Default Why in the world?

I have to know why this costs so much. It's not just Amazon. I googled it, and that's the actual list price on other sites as well. I will seriously live an unfulfilled life if I don't find out why it costs so much. Ok, not really, but I'm very curious.

Not a bad deal. Only $150 per page.

Because, from the cover, it looks like it was a private corporate report, and therefore not for public mass-market sale, except at exclusive prices for those willing to pay for the information.
(Similar to those who go to Washington book stores to actually buy copies of the 700-page Federal Budget Report, except not as public.)

...Now go ye out and seek fulfillment.

LOL. I love the one user comment on the item page - "Best $6000 I've ever spent."

I think it's one of those things where if you need it you can afford it.

You use the report to make predictions on where the market is going. It's main purpose is to help you sell more products. That and the fact that it's not going to be in everyone's must-read list demands a higher price.

Manufacturers care. If they are going to stay in the market they need to know where the trends are headed. I'm pretty sure those are the consumers that this is directed towards.
