What was in 480p?

Did you change the settings on the system?

Go into the system setup blade on the 360 and go into the display settings portion.

Most stuff seems to ship with its video set to 480i/p, a sort of safe-mode, that will work on any set out there. You have to go in to the video settings and choose the correct resolution such as 720p or 1080p.

On the other hand, I have had this 480p 'ghost user' mystery with my PS3. After about a month or so of use, I find it set to standerd def via HDMI for no apparent reason. I quickly put the video setting back, but it's stange indeed.
