Onkyo HT-S7100 (with TX-SR606 Reciever)

Moving next weekend so decided If im going to have to set up everything again its time to finally upgrade my HTIB!! ordered the following

3 PAIR OF High-Quality Copper Speaker Banana Plugs - Closed Screw Type [JX-74043]

1 6ft High-quality Coaxial Audio/Video RCA CL2 Rated Cable - RG6/U 75ohm (for S/PDIF, Digital Coax, Subwoofer & Composite Video)

2 Speaker Wall Mounting Bracket - Black (Max 10LBS) - Set of 2

2 spools 14AWG Enhanced Loud Oxygen-Free Copper Speaker Wire Cable - 100ft

I love it! Alot of HTIB haters out there but I got this for less than the cost of the new reciever alone so it was a good deal for me.

I was thinking about getting it too but i don't know people keep telling me that the speakers of the htib suck but i really don't care right now they are still going to be better then to ones i have now

I hear ya! I live in an apt building so I didnt want to have the neighbors knocking, even this setup can be a bit much but its worth it lol

i also live in a apartment while i go to school so yea. i am debating on getting the HTIB or onkyo 606 with the Polk RM6750 http://www.google.com/products/catal...218#ps-sellers

Your call, I know the forums are filled with a long of fans of the Polks. At the end the cost will probably be the same. Amazon just dropped the price of the HTIB. Onkyo had the refurbished not to long ago for $430, which is hella of a price.

I been looking at the 7100, love the small but effective speakers. The 6100 is the same without the stands though isn't it? Just can't find it anywhere in Australia.

It was an older regular HTIB. HT-SR600 with a HT-R340 receiver
