Default Blu ray disk to standard resolution

I have numerous blu ray movies that I play with no problem at home as I just bought a Panasonic BD55. The problem is that some of my friend do not have a blu ray player and I cannot bring these or any of the good blu ray movies with me. Is there a way to copy a blu ray movie onto a standard DVD that will allow non blu ray players the ability to play them.

Jim

Negative, my friend. None at all. Unless they come with a digital copy and you give it to them so they can play on their computer.
