Default BD55: HUGE $$$ Increase !!

WTF Amazon??!! -- they kill me! It had been down to $318 recently, and lower from what some readers here note, but was in the low $330's in recent days, ok?

So I log back on a few mins ago and hit "REFRESH" on my "Cart" and the price had jumped to... Drum Roll Please... - $359.98!!!! (<<<-----hahahaha, Enough "Crazy icons here? Apologies in advance).

Are they freaking kidding me??!! Lol. I'm "Hoping" this is a "momentary lapse in reason" from them.

yea, thats the one thing i don't like about amazon is that one item can be 10 different prices during the same day. i have seen it happen and it's crazy. i wish they were more constant with the pricing. at least the same for ONE day.

I noticed that as well. Yikes. Also, the $100 discount when you purchased 4 Blu-rays from an eligible list is gone. I thought the offer was good thru 12/31.

I, just for the heck of it, went thru the check out process and the $100 Off deal showed near the last step. Its' in effect til' 12/31 as far as I know. Maybe you want to try again?

Yea, the Pioneer 5020 TV was $2,200 a few days ago, now it's $2,600.

And I'm glad the 35K is $200 at Costco, I was planning on a 55K but at that price, the 35 was hard to pass up! Now awaiting me under the tree,

Ah, didn't try that. Just noticed it wasn't listed as a special offer on the product page anymore........same with the 35.

Thanks for that catch.

I bought a HTiB from them this past year. I can't remember the exact amounts but from the time I ordered it and it arrived the price dropped about $100. I sent them an email asking if I could get the discount since I'd only just recently ordered it and wallah they credit my card for $100.

If it's within a few day's I think as long as you catch it and ask, they'll give you the lower price.

I just tried the amazon cart and didn't get the offer. Code BDWARNER came back as expired. BTW, the 35 went up to $280 on amazon. I need the 55 as I have a 10 yr old receiver.

Really? That is a HUGE increase $$$$$? Wow. Maybe $100 is huge. The TV mentioned is huge ($400), but not this. Besides, you're still looking at a lower price than you can likely get it at a B+M store. Don't worry, it will eventually go back down to a "not HUGE increase $$$$$." I'm amazed a MOD hasn't closed the thread for blatant attention-grabbing. Pretty sure it's in the rules (if not, it should be.)

Here's the deal, but most won't like it. With amazon, if ya snooze ya lose! Amazon prices can and do change rapidly, so waiting for a better price is usually a bad idea.
