First Blood - Blu-ray Forum

Getting some practice with my Digital Camera. Getting better!

I thought First Blood was ok, but it was a little bit overhyped IMO. The ending makes no sense, especially since the entire National Guard + US army were after him, and they are all no where to be seen for the last 30 minutes as it was just Rambo running around town blowing shit up. So at this point, the believability somewhat ran out, which totally made the ending pointless for me. The whole rambo crying thing, etc.

All in all, it's a decent movie. It's no The Fugitive though.

The transfer is fantastic.

First Blood is definetly the best in the Rambo series.

You're right it is no The Fugitive... It's 100 times better than that crap.

What was wrong with The Fugitive. Apart from the fact it took a lot of it's story from Frantic i found it better than First Blood.

There both good movies in there own right but The Fugitive just edges it for me.

It's a glorified tv movie, although not as bad as the Wesley Snipes starring shite of a sequel, U.S. Marshalls.

I'm over exaggerating here, obviously The Fugitive isn't a bad film, but I can't possibly fathom putting it anywhere near First Blood. I mean... It's First Blood, for f**k sake!

rambo became an american icon after first blood. its a classic what the hell are you taking about overhyped. why it took you this long to watch it i have no idea. youre probably some 9 year old kid whos into movies with dumb robots and big explosions . btw ive seen both and fugitive isn't even close

First Blood was a great 80's action movie and def the best of the series.

I am biased though, I grew up in the 80's so I love all that over-the-top 80's goodness.

First Blood and the latest Rambo are my favorite's. The new one does indeed look spectacular on Blu-ray.

I am a big fan of all of the Rambo movies, and I am very happy that another film is going to be made.
