I have a couple of questions. So here it goes.

1) Is Amazon the best online source to buy from?
2) Is it the cheapest?
3) I ordered V for Vendetta on monday and it still isn't here yet. I paid the standard $2.98 shipping. Is there a option for faster shipping?
4) How much does the faster shipping cost (if there is an option)?

So it's only four dollars for 1 day shipping? Or is it four dollars added on to the standard price?

If you haven't already, I recommend trying out an Amazon Prime trial. I had a 3-month trial since I bought textbooks on Amazon. Then my dad started a 1-month trial on his account, and then invited my mom and me to also use prime. Prime is especially great for the holidays.

In my experience with amazon I use "free super saver shipping" on all of my orders and get my orders within less than a week. Free super saver shipping is standard shipping and you need to spend at least $25 bucks for your order to qualify for it.

Amazon is by far my favorite palce to buy Blus. I have Prime and that makes things so much easier. Even before Prime the Super Saver Shipping was always pretty good for me.

I believe Amazon is running a promotion for new prime customers. $60 for Amazon Prime for a year. Amazon prime gives you free two day shipping on a majority of their stuff.

Depends...pay attention during checkout and select the different options and observe the price change...SIMPLE.

There are always (99.99%) a better deal somewhere to be had...always my first choice though.

If you get Amazon Prime, you won't even wanna look at any other sites. It's the greatest thing since sliced bread!! Free 2 day shipping on just about everything sold by Amazon (although I get everything the next day because I live near a distribution center) For $60 it's totally worth it, split it with 4 other people and it's a no brainer!!!

The last sentence is where it is at, but threads on the subject are no longer allowed in this site. I can understand it, because Amazon is the only sponsor here and nobody wants problems.

I got the majority of my blu's from Amazon. They have some pretty good promotions at times. But places like walmart.com usually have some low prices at times too

ok... i have a question related to this. i signed up for amazon prime about month ago and it has been nothing but great. i have had the free trial for this whole month. now my month is dwindling down and it says it will automatically update on the 18th for $79. is there a way i can get this deal for $59?! i dont want to automatically get charged an extra $20...

spartan, you bought v for vendetta on amazon marketplace, not amazon, which is essentially like ebay. therefore, it generally takes more time for a dvd/bluray to ship out, especially if the seller shipped it via media mail. i remember you telling me about this purchase, and whatever price you quoted me was what someone was selling it for brand new on the marketplace which is why i'm guessing that's where you bought it. sometimes it does take longer for movies to arrive, but you can generally get them (sometimes a lot) cheaper.

Fork it over for Amazon Prime, dude. You won't regret it. I've purchased everything on Amazon; from Blu-Rays to PS3 / 360 games to a Samsung 1080p HDTV to Laptop, etc. Everything. Free 2-day shipping is absolutely beautiful, and if you're going to shop often, trust me, not paying tax WILL ADD UP.
