I currently run 3 Monoprice 1.3a HDMI cables in my system. Great cables. I also found this site online.......FIREFOLD.......they offer 1.3b HDMI cables at a similar price like Monoprice cable. They seem to be the same gauge, and look like descent build quality. They are 120Hz capable, and also are HIGH SPEED. They also are capable of resolutions up to 1440p. Sorry if this has been posted somewhere else, but I thought this would be great info............ ![]() |

I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong and maybe I'm over my head here, but I thought the technical specs of HDMI were in 1.3a and all 1.3b and c did was add changes in the way they were tested.
Also, aren't all Category 2 version 1.3 cables rated for 10.2Gbps/340MHz? And display resolution was 2560x1600p? And Category 1 cables were rated for 720p/1080i or around 75MHz. |
