Have PS3... do I need HD capable receiver?
), and I KNOW this has been asked a million times, but I have gotten conflicting info (from Best Buy employees, go figure)... but anyway. Since I have a PS3, I was wondering if I need a receiver with Tru-HD and the other hi-def codecs, or will any HDMI 1.3 capable receivers be fine since the PS3 decodes internally? I am only asking because the BB guys told me that even though the PS3 decodes internally, you still need a hi-def capable receiver, and I just didn't think that was right. Any help would be great, and I know I can count on you guys.. this site is great, by the way... all of your knowledge and comments are greatly appreciated.
