Default 3:10 to Yuma (2007)

I know this is an older release now, but I just watched the movie this afternoon for the first time since the first week it was released on Blu-Ray. I just can't get over how good it is. The final few minutes where they were running in tandem towards the train station was quite possibly the most perfectly shot scene in movie history. I was choked up the entire time Wade decided to help Evans get him to the station till the credits rolled. Just felt like telling the internet how much I really loved the movie, thanks for listening.

I share these sentiments. An amazing blind buy, from my point of view; great production, great acting, great story. Nothing like a Russell Crowe + Christian Bale picture. I love this movie, it's one of my favorites now.

I agree, great movie. There were a lot of great moments in it. If you love Westerns, check out Appaloosa when it's released on blu in January.

Um, Entertainment value wise it wasn't. Meaning I could watch Superman Returns 5 mabye 6 times with out getting bored. But when it comes to which movie was better made and had better acting, of course 3:10 to Yuma was better. They are two completly diffrent movies.

That's funny. That's how many times I watched 3:10 to Yuma when I first got the Blu.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the movie. But it just wasn't anything special to me. It's not one that I would think to buy. But I'm the wrong person to ask because I'm not that big of fan of the western genre.

I like this movie a whole lot. It's got a pretty good director's commentary on it as well.

Put Ben Foster on my radar and I appreciate that as well /

The acting was superb. The chemistry between Bales and Crowe was intense and profound. The story was captivating and moving.

All I can say is I want a sequel: 3:11 to Yuma - Next Train Out

Here is an except of a possible sequel from this thread:

3:11 To Yuma - Next Train Out
Christian Bale miraculously survived the gunshots from the first film. He and his son open a rehab facility to help convert bad guys into good guys. But something goes wrong when Russell Crowe shows up with his new evil posse. He guns down the reformed bad guys, burns down the rehab center - and rapes Christian Bale's wife. Bale gets even by joining forces with the X-Men, who capture Russell Crowe and put him on the next... 3:11 To Yuma.

It was alright. I tried really hard to like it, but I couldn't get into it, and I loved assination of Jesse James, so I figured a movie with Bale and Crowe with alot more action would be amazing. The ending was great and moving, but something about the movie seemed off to me.
