I got in on this deal. Its actually sold out, but they are letting you add it to your cart and complete checkout. So it appears they plan to honor the price when more stock arrives. Very hot deal for a great show.

This is amazon matching Best Buy's prices. I picked up Band of Brothers (blu) yesterday at Best Buy for $37.49, and see that's amazon's price now. Best Buy is selling all their HBO dvds and blus for 50% off, not sure if amazon matched all of these or just some. Still, I'd definitely recommend picking up The Wire. One of the best shows of all time in my opinion. This is definitely a show that had to be on HBO (or Showtime), because if it was edited at all it would have lost a lot of substance.

It does have HBO's seemingly mandatory sex in it. Pretty annoying because its just tossed into the show, adding very little if anything to the characters involved. Sex scenes don't actually bother me, but it does make it hard to recommend the show to some people who do care about nudity. Especially when its just added in like this. It'd be nice if the dvds had an option to play without the actual nude scenes, then I could recommend this to my parents who would otherwise probably love the show.
