Why do people here even care about slip covers? Dont they just get all mangled after awhile?? I just throw mine away after buying BD's, couldn't care less about them!

I like them because it looks nicer sitting on the shelf with that spine sticking out, instead of the plastic sleeve. Sort of looks like a book. Gold ain't my favorite color, but I still like me some slipcovers. Mine don't get mangled. I'm not sure what you are doing to your BD's, but I just take mine off of the shelf, watch them and put them back.

I'm sure these will pop up soon in stores in North America. No actual release dates tho? There Will Be Blood is all I'm interested in, must upgrade over crappy DVD transfer.

The only one I'm interested in I've already got- The Untouchables. But too bad they couldn't remaster it to include a lossless audio track, then I might have to double dip. But that's two years in a row- I break down and buy a movie that I had previously seen only in part on TV, then they do identical style slipsleeves. The first was Forrest Gump on DVD last year, and this year with The Untouchables.
