Lack of RPG's - Blu-ray Forum

Besides Fallout 3, Elder Scrolls 4, Folklore, Valkyria Chronicles what other PS3 RPGs are out there and worth trying out. I've only played Fallout and Elder Scrolls. Only played the demo of Valkyria Chronicles. Its good. I want it.

Well good question is how many PS3 RPG's are there?

How about untold legend Dark kingdom rising or something like that... its a hack and slash rpg made by SOE...

You can also buy suikoden on the psn store its a classic rpg from the ps one era...

Eternal Sonata
Disgaea 3
Rise of the Argonauts (comes out soon like next week i believe, no idea if it's any good or not)
Enchanted Arms

Coming out someday:

White Knight Story
Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy vs XIII
Sacred 2 Fallen Angel (no idea what this is)
Dragon Age: Origins (again, no clue)
The Last Remnant
Darksiders
Alpha Protocol

PS3 has no true RPG games right now (imho). Those ones listed are Action/RPG.

You wonder if Square will put out there FF games from the PSP to the PS3? Like Rockstar did with the GTA games

Enchanted arms is a turn based JRPG, it has some tactical positioning in combat, but quite limited. It's not as bad as many people say it is, the story is quite unoriginal but intense anyway. The combat system is somewhat new, with golems you recruit and can change team often (there are 20 new golems more than on X360 and the story has been modified)

Yes but we have suikoden now so all is good...
have fun leveling all 108 characters..

By that time all the good rpgs should be out...

I don't know, woudl be nice but i doubt it. Isn't the FF7 spin-off the only new one on the PSP now anyways? Crisis Core I think it was.

Disgaea 3 is great. It's a VERY deep tactical RPG in the same vein as Final Fantasy Tactics. Enchanted Arms is pretty good, too. I thought the story was pretty good, IMO. The end of the game kind of falls apart, though. They just could have made the end so much more emotionally appealing, like they foreshadow that they are leading up to to begin with. I'm waiting for a B+M store to put Valkyria Chronicles on sale so that I can price match at Best Buy (I have a $200 gc there.) I wish BB price matched Amazon. I hear they MAY, but it's YMMV.

I like to see FF do the future big city stuff. FF7, FF8, FF10. FF13 Verses looks like that but the regular 13 looks like 12.

I tried it a long time ago. I'm seriously considering buying it, but I have so many other games to play first so I'll hold off for a while.
From what I remember it was a great game, I may actually still own it for the PS1. I know I own Suikoden III (or maybe II) for the PS2.

3 was for ps2, 2 was for ps1

Nothing beats 6 man parties and the flow of the battle...

Well if you count the Suikoden Tatics you could say there is 6...

But yeah 5, ive played 1-3, played demo of 4 and I never heard of 5 till
reading that article...

I feel left behind...

Ive only beaten the first one...
