Default How many inches to be a "big screen"?

At what size do you personally consider a tv to be a "big screen".

I have a 40" and just barelt consider it a big-screen. I'd say 40 inches and higher are big screens. What about you.

Now days with 46 inches in bedroom's I would have to say nothing under 50 inch. That being said, my 60 inch seems small to me...

Yep, my 52" TV seemed so huge when I chose and purchased it a year ago but now it seems to be just standard in size.
Funny thing is I remember 10 years ago in 1998 when I saw the first flat screen TV in a store downtown, absolutely out of price and 40", I remember thinking how that TV was Huuuuuge back then.

A 120" will look like IMAX to me because it'll most likely be in my room.

Surely ruins / spoils you for life. I started off with a 40'' bravia and thought that was it. Ever since i moved to a 133'' Da-lite screen with a Panny AX200 on the back wall, i'm never going back to TVs!!

In fact only thing on my radar next is the Panny AE3000!!

usually the term "big screen" was used for rear projection tv's... really haven't heard many people say "big screen lcd or plasma"

I started with a 32", then to 37", then 42" and now 50". I see a pattern here, a 60"+ would be nice!
