Okay i cant afford a Bravia are Aquios I went 2 Best Buy seen all there tv;s that look the same as my westinghouse 1080p but in one room three tvs a Bravia a Aquios and Mitsubishi Looked Unbelivable! so i asked an employee wht was the diffrence he said they calibrated those 3!!!! WOW!!! The Dark Knight LOooked AMazing I thought i have a Blu Ray A 1080p TV may be i can do that so i asked here no help i got a westinghouse setting everyone else had so i kept asking i had 2 pay 300 dollars for some calibration guy it took me a couple of days 2 find a calibration guy but my tv looks like a Bravia Aquios and that Motsubishi so i ask my surround sound is 2.1 Bose but am i really missing out? my tv is supposed 2 be cheap no bravia no samsung aquios but i bet my Westinghouse looks beter then a 42inch that cost 3times as much because of the calibration. My Bose Cine Mate 2.1 Kills my sisters 5.1 panasonic 7 speaker surround sound that costed more then my 2 bose and a sub.

Did anyone tell you about Digital Video Essentials: HD Basics Blu-ray disc? It is a do it yourself calibration disc that cost around $25.00 and is almost as good as paying someone $300.00 to do it for you.

First off welcome to the boards. To answer your question if your missing out on anything with your setup, well in audio I think your missing a nice chunk. With the bose I highly doubt your getting the new hd audio codecs that bluray has to offer. If you want to fix that search around and you'll find plenty budget options to fulfill your needs. If your satisified with what you have then thats totally awesome since most of us tend to have the upgrade bug. But if not then I'm sorry I have opened up Pandora's Box for you. Enjoy

i have the keyboard BD Remote ive had my ps3 since launh SO I WAS FORCED 2 BUY NACHO LIBRA SILENT HILL X MEN as i didnt have much choice at launh o and full metel jacket im sure i started buying blus b 4 most on this as i said b4 i camped out P.S. IM NOT BETER THEN N E 1 AS i said if u habve a vizio with a blu ray player and a 199 surround sound u rock!!!!
