This "film" is utter garbage.. regurgitated jokes aimed towards the lowest of the low that laugh at fart and burp jokes. After every scene, my thought was "thank God that's over" and then it throws you into another bad place you desperately want out of. It has no redeeming factors.. nothing justifiable. There is not a shred of intelligence or even a desire to be entertaining in the movie's writing. It makes me afraid for the people who made this, wrote it and thought it was funny or worth filming - how do they function in normal soceity? What about the actors? They're so bad at times I felt like I was watching porn. Are people really this useless?

Kim Kardashian? Really, do we need more spoiled celebrity "party girlz" in Hollywood?!

On top of all that, the movie was vulgar and contained distasteful uses of profanity. In one scene, a kid of not more than 11-12 years-old says, "Motherf#$ker!" Yes... real funny. Let's all laugh every time someone says a swear word because it "shocks" us. This movie is all about crude humor delivered in the worst ways possible.

I only hope the parody genre puts out something coherent in the future and these trend-feeding rats stop passing out their films like bowel movements.

lol - I have this curse where if I start something I always have to finish it. I sat through Meet the Spartans and I didn't think this could be worse.

You are a gluton for punishment. I watched Epic Movie and that was horrible. None of those movies are good. Scary Movie 2 was probably the last decent one. I cannot watch any of these any more because they bombard us with them. Now the Wayan Brothers who cannot write anything original have a dance movie coming out spoofing Hairspray etc.

I'm done with these movies.. I watched this to pass time with wishful thinking it might be funny. This put the nail in the coffin for me.

The worst part about these movies is the filmmakers' obvious contempt for their viewers.

This is one of those movies where you can tell its a failure from the trailer.

Plus they are making fun of Oscar winners? Sounds great to me, lets make fun of great movies that our target audience probably havent even heard of let alone never seen.

I remember when my brother rented out Meet the Spartans. I was expecting he'd like it seeing that he's the sort of person who would be interested with that stuff. He hated it so much though, he never even finished it. Thank god, even the stoopid are immune to those movies. I'm guessing that the same could be said for Disaster Movie.

Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer are the guys to blame for these awful movies. They've made 4 so far: Date Movie, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, and Disaster Movie. They are the worst of the worst. If anyone has seen any of these movies, you know they make the Scary Movie sequels seem like comedy masterpieces by comparison. Truly dreadful in every way.

I think it's rediculous that you even attempted to watch this movie if your views on comedys are what you say. How did you not know that it was going to be that sort of horrible comedy. I am proud to say I was smart enough not to watch any of these horrible movies even once.

I actually thought the Superhero movie spoof was hilarious. Then, I watched Epic Movie.. it had a few laughs but was really bad in comparison. Distaster looks even worse.

Just for the record, Superhero Movie was NOT made by the same people who made Date/Epic/Spartans/Disaster Movie. While I didn't love Superhero Movie, it's worlds better than those 4 movies. Don't let the similar titles confuse you. They're all named that way to try to cash in on Scary Movie's success.

Ah.. that makes more sense. Honestly a lot of the humor in the Superhero one reminded me of better movies like Airplane, Naked Gun etc.. but the others are not even close. I guess that explains it!

If spoof and satire are similar then the last really funny movie I saw in this genre was Walk Hard. Otherwise I avoid spoof movies like the plague.

I wouldn't call this Disaster Movie so much as I would call it a movie disaster.
This genre used to be very funny a million years ago With the likes of The Naked Gun or The Nutty Professor but after that, pretty much all spoof films crashed down and burned.
