Default would this projector work?

about a few years ago i got a projector, but i haven't used it in a while but i was wondering if it would work as a small home theater? the model i have is Sanyo PLV- Z2. Here is a website with it's specs http://www.projectorcentral.com/Sanyo-PLV-Z2.htm . Can this work with a ps3? what cables would i have to use? sorry im kind of a newbie at this stuff. i want to see if i can make use of it or not. thanks

Make sure you have a screen ready to use. You will need one of these to use with your PS3. Any cable that they sell (from 28 gauge to 22 gauge) will work the same so go for the cheapest version applicable or the one that works for your situation (if you decide to go in-wall or just get a thicker cable).

This projector is similar to the one that you listed. It's very bright and has a dedicated game mode that is supposed to reduce video lag.

It also can accept 1080P/24, something not many 720P projectors can do.
