Default audio button setting

On the audio menu on some Blu-rays, it simple has something called "Audio button" which can be selected or de-selected. Wondering what that is and how it should be set? Thanks!

Default Wondering the

same thing. I noticed that option on Dark Knight but had no idea what purpose it served so I left it unchecked. I would like to know, as well.

Found elsewhere.

It turns on or off the "bleep" noise you hear when you navigate between menu options. For the The Dark Knight Blu-ray try navigating through the making of segments and you will hear a beep.

Yeah its for those sound effects on the menus. They annoy me but I usually don't play around enough in the menus to turn the sound effects off.
