Does anyone know if they plan to release a blu-ray of The Number 23 in addition to the dvd?

Hi,

sorry to dig up this old thread, but it was the only one I could easily find,
as I didn't want to make a new thread for my fairly simple question:

I'm wondering if there are any significant differences between the US- and UK-version.
One is the release-date, which is only a difference of 6 days,
so probably not much of a time to make for a different disc to start with.
And seemingly the box would be slightly different,
same artwork, but different box and some sort of "blu" framing on the print.

Anyway, I díd notice that the description-pages on this website show different aspect-ratios.
With the US-version being 2.35:1 and the UK-version being 2.39:1.
(According to IMDb the first is the one.)
If that's actually true, I don't know, but I'd guess the UK-version
might be wrong as the page is pretty void of info anyway.
It doesn't even indicate the type of video and audio for example...

So does anyone know more about this?

Digging up an old thread to show my appreciation for the horror/suspense movie The Number 23; like The Majestic, this is definitely an extremely underrated JC film - and, with Halloween coming up, it would be a good time to revisit this....

Too bad JC didn't do more films like this...
