Any news on Garden State?

Does anyone know if and when this will go Blu?

It wouldn't be an amazing difference between Blu Ray and standard, but I'd still buy it.

Just because it's a drama really. Usually the Blus that will blow you away are action/superhero/thriller movies with lots of special effects etc. or animated ones.

That doesn't matter though, as I love the film and would like to see it on Blu Ray.

If the PQ is done right any movie can blow you away and look amazing. It just depends on the source material and how much work is put into the transfer for blu.

I have to agree. that was the best thing I learned when I actually got a blu-ray player, everything looks better. not just explosions and action.

I was just wondering about this movie's release as well. Garden State is one of my favorite movies and I bet it would look nice on blu; I'm hoping for a release sometime this year.

while it is a drama I remember that Zach tried to make the visuals complement the story and emotion. I'm pretty sure it being in high-def would add to it.

Was thinking this needs a BD release just a few days back watching it on the Sundance Channel. I can't imagine it's high on the FOX list. Here is to hoping. It's a great movie that deserves the best presentation possible.

It's just an okay movie, don't really think it needs a blu-ray transfer that badly but it would be another step towards me converting my entire collection to blu-ray.

This is one of my favorite movies and is very, very similar to my life. My dad had me on lithium for a very, very long time. Then I just said **** it and stopped taking them. Honestly, I'm just lucky to be alive. The downside of this is that my dad and I used to be really close... it's been 9 months since I've seen him and he has now cut me off completely. Now, I have to pay for so much more stuff like school. It sucks.

But, I really, really hope they can get this to blu-ray. I will buy it no matter what... well assuming it is $20 or less.

Garden State is a great movie. I recently was going through a bunch of my older DVDs and found this movie, it had been a long time since I saw it. Amazing soundtrack. I certainly hope this hits the BD shelves someday.

I'd pay $100 for a blu-ray copy of this film. It is my favorite movie and the DVD quality kind of sucks.
