Default Duke Nukem Forever

Is this confirmed pretty much for the PS3?

It'd be kind of funny if they end up releasing for PS4.

Duke Nukem Forever has a better chance of coming out than a PS4. I hear the game is coming along well though.

How NOT to Release Duke Nukem Forever:

Step 1: Obtain license to mediocre video game franchise.

Step 2: Take 4 years to create mediocre game with said license.

Step 3: Announce new game based on license. Call game <Licensed Property> Forever, because that's how long it'll take to arrive. Keep releasing new screen shots every 2 years that look suspiciously like the screen shots from 2 years ago but with slightly modified textures.

Step 4: Do nothing for 12+ years, except eat Cheetos, drink sugary soda, get fat, and dream about what could happen if you actually did some coding. Matter of fact, do everything in your power to NOT release a quality game within the lifetimes of your fans. Instead, keep re-hashing your old crap on XBL, cell phones, etc. whilst you desperately attempt to hang on to what few fan boys you have left by posting pics of half-naked women on your web site.

Step 5: Call your company 3dRealms: Kings of Vaporware, and watch the gaming world fly right by you and your sorry excuse for a video game development house.

DNF will probably never see the light of day. And if, by some miracle of miracles, it does, it will be an utter failure. Why else do you think there's no respectable talent left at that company?

WoW, those videos in the links look great. too bad they don't have any direct video's of the game. what you do get to see is someone with a video camera walking by people playing the games and watching the screens. it still looks really good so i can only imagine what it looks like direct video. i loved duke back in the day and still have some duke on pc games so yes, i'll be picking this up when it's released because i'm a duke fan!

My understanding is 3d Realms, as a company, still exists. They still have the rights to duke3d, etc. Though maybe not anymore, with 2k's aquisition of DNF.

Anyway, the team that was working on DNF was disbanded. 2k has the publishing rights to the game and now a new team (Gearbox) is putting the final touches on the title. So for better or worse, it's no longer a 100% 3d realms title.
