if/when they release it in the U.S.? I know I will most definitely,
it was one of my childhood favorites!!

I used to love this movie. The music was great too. They don't make fantasy movies like that anymore and that's too bad.

Got the import for my birthday. My secodn favorite movie of all time. Watched it a couple weeks ago, and loved the heck out of it.

Saw it way back in 1984, seen a few times here and there over the years but I have no interest in buying it for my collection. Not a movie I would just watch again and again, will just be collecting dust on the shelves

the review on highdefdigest suggests the transfer and sound are dissapointing.. hopefully a US release will improve things..

I remember seeing it in theaters back in 1984. Unfortunately I also saw the sequel in theaters(on opening night, no less).

I'd get this one on Blu-ray. It's one of those kids movies that had a ballsy dark, downbeat tone. I mean look at that scene with the horse for God's sake!

I will definitely buy it when it comes to Blu, that movie was one of my favorites growing up. To this day, when my brother and I are in the same room, and for no reason at all, one of us will yell out "Atreyu!", just for the fun of it. "Falcor"! is a favorite as well.
