Default JVCs 0.95 numerical aperture lens

Hi, a while ago JVC announced that the new lens they made for blu-ray disc would in principle allow 40GB of data to be recorded per single layer.

Has any one heard anything new about this, like whether this technology will be incorporated into BDs such that there would be 80, 160 and 320GB discs?
