When using my Vaio's HDMI output to my 16:9 plasmaTV, the picture on the TV is cropped on each side (not to mention the black bars on the top and bottom). Is there a way to "max" the picture?
I am using the Intervideo v8, which does have a "Smart Stretch" feature to 16:9 and Pan-Scan ability. But, when playing BD, the "Smart Stetch" features are locked and I cannot modify them. I'm not sure that this feature would fix the problem here though. Can anybody advise on a solution? Would different DVD software assist in any way? Thank you |
