Default Everyone buy Pirates on May 22!

Both Pirates of the Caribbean movies are coming out on Blu-ray on May 22nd. I believe this is the same day that everyone is planning a Blu-ray and HD DVD buy-a-thon. Everyone on here should buy at least one of the Pirates movies on Amazon on May 22nd.

Would like to but I am not.

I have both on DVD and I am waiting for the 3rd to come out and complete the collection - then I will buy the "Boxed Set" on BD.

No sense buying it now if you want all 3.

I'll be picking both of these films up with no reservations. Sorry, it won't be from Amazon though. Fry's FTW!

This thread should be amalgamated with the "Spare change... May 22" thread.
But I will be buying POTC 1 and 2 along with Apocolypto, Closer, Letter from Iwo Jima, and maybe Flags of our Fathers.

I am very much looking forward to Closer

Then by that time - there should be somewhat of a winner for the format war

According to your sig...

You have 61 BD movies. At an average cost of 27 bux per title, you have spent $1647.00 dollars.

Shocking to me really. But not.

That's where I go as well. Fry's has lots of movies. Well over here anyways, convenient to walk in and walk out.

I had both ordered initially, but my friend put some doubt in my head about whether or not to buy the second one. I'm going to Netflix the second one before I buy.

^^ Don't have any doubts. It's a fun romp that sets up part 3.

I've had both Pirates' films preordered since about the first day they were up.
