Hello all,
This may be a dumb question but I am in the process of building a new budget home theater for my new house. I have a PS3 for blu-ray, and I know it decodes Dolby True HD and DTS master audio. However on the Sony 720 receiver it does not have these decoders built in. My question is will this received still output true HD audio or will it be converted back to Dolby Digital or something like that? I just want to make sure I do not need to spend the money on a better received because I want to make sure the sound I am getting is true HD audio. Thank you for any help. |
