How can someone prefer 1080i? Reminds me a bit of the semi-pro HD cameras from Sony.

Erm, french audio only (this is a german film....), no subtitles at all, pq during the first 10 min. like good VHS.

There is a scene at the beginning, when they are watching Night of the Living Dead in a little cinema inside a music club. Funny thing is, they kept the german dub for NotLD. lol

IMO: not even worth the 12 Euros i've paid for it.

Sounds like the UK DVD with original German language and English subs stays on my shelves.

i spoke to Arrows films today in the UK and they confirmed to me this movie wont be comming out and theres no plans for it on blu ray.is this film only got in France ? does any other country have this with english subs ?

And that's a shame. Great movie that should be given an international Blu-ray release, with the original German language track and English subtitles.

I wholeheartedly agree. Unfortunately, even during DVD's era this important film was treated very badly. I don't recall ever seeing an English-friendly anamorphic release of it.

Yeah, it's a shame. The UK release have the original aspect ratio, original German language audio track and English subtitles, but as you say it's not anamorphic.

If you speak German or Dutch the Dutch DVD is the best one out there, with a German 5.1 track, Dutch subtitles and anamorphic picture format. Unfortunately this lacks all the exclusive extras found on the Italian release...
