Conclusions are starting to be made. Does HD-DVD really think it is going to have a better quarter? A movie from 1996 is their best title coming out. Unless of course, those stellar transfers of The Jerk and The Game start flying off the shelves.

This article also really hit home as to why Universal picked HD-DVD......they wanted more money back per movie. Now it will cost them more in the long run to get into the blu-ray game.

Blu-Ray = The REAL HD-DVD!!!!

I agree completely. There was a time that I would have snapped up Universal titles had they released on Blu-ray at launch. If they ever do come around, they will have to wait to have their discs reviewed before I buy them. I'll be enjoying movies from other studios.

I like these kind of predictions as they do nothing but help the cause and make it happen quicker.

Amazon already has Gladiator listed on their site, They just don't have the date posted yet. They also have Saving Private Ryan listed as well. So you can expect Dreamworks movies coming to bd.

Several of these mainstream gaming magazines have been increasingly putting out the positive Blu-Ray vibe despite having instances in the past of some clear anti-Sony bias.

That tells me something, to be sure.

But here's another huge, mainstream gaming magazine with a huge circulation getting that message out.

Good!

Hate to spoil this, but both Gladiator and Saving Private Ryan are listed on Amazon for both formats. Looks like they're neutral, although these titles will sell more BDs than HD-DVDs, so it will just give more proof as to which format's winning.
