Default When Paramount releases Spielberg movies

When Paramount releases Spielberg movies will he and will he be able to demand a DTS MA track on Saving Private Ryan and Minority Report. I can actually all but garuntee he will he will be able to do this since he was exempt from the Paramount HD DVD deal.

I'm sure it'll be TrueHD just like Indy 4.

Lets hope so.. I wish more movies were released in DTS MA. I've become spoiled with it now.

TrueHD and DTS MA are two different codecs (even though the end result is the same). From your post it sounds like you're lumping them together as one entity.

Paramount may even do both like they did for Top Gun.

Since the end result is the same (and that's always been my understanding as well), I'm curious about the reasons why studios choose one codec over the other. Is one more efficient than the other on disc space utilisation? And if that's the only consideration, why isn't the more efficient one always used?

I just hope some of his flicks get released this century. I would be happy for that.
I am sure he wont follow his buddies route, ole George and hold on to his movies until God knows when.
