I want to preorder something from amazon.com and was wondering if it shipped the day of release or it arrived to my doorstep on that day? Thanks, guys!

it depends where you live and what type of shipping you used

Oh okay. So for instance, I live in the U.S. and could pick the quickest shipping possible and would get it the day of release?

yeah most of the times you get it the day of if its the quickest possible shipping. amazon usually gets their stuff early so they can ship it out on time.
