Default Planet Earth Blu-Ray Disc Delays?

I ordered Planet Earth, Secret Window, and Deja Vu on Blu-Ray last tuesday and used super saver shipping. For those of you that are not familiar with Amazon's savers shipping it basically means they ship all of your stuff when it is all available. I just got an e-mail saying that Secret Window and Deja vu have shipped for free and that my copy of Planet Earth won't be shipping until the middle of may. I'm guessing they are either back ordered or haven't left the production facility yet.

Mine shipped from amazon on monday of this week and i got it yesterday, only to open it up and see an empty blu-ray case with no discs inside!!! None of the 4 discs are in there! It was fully shrink wrapped with the outer sleeve and the bluray case inside, but no discs. I emailed amazon and they said it will take a while to get me a replacement obviously because they are sold out. I may go with a refund and order it elsewhere now....arrrgggghhh.

I got mine yesterday from a regular video store and Disc 4 was missing! I wonder how bad the packaging process was cas' it seems that I saw similar thing happened at the other forum. Anyway, I took it back and they exchanged it for me, I can see they got only a few copies of it left!!! While I was there, another guy was buying it.... I can see this is a really popular title!

that's one reason why I refuse to order online

And would never buy a DVD that cost over 100$ with tax

just curious about amazon. do they not bill you if until its shipped. i don't have the $ on my CC as i am a poor college student but want to get PotC in a reasonable amount of time. im afraid if i don't pre-order i wont get it til mid-june, but at the same time im afraid that it will bill me right away.
