How is the lost boys? - Blu-ray Forum

not the secnd one, but the first one. saw it a long time ago and liked it so i ordered it yesterday, is the upgrade from Warner a good one?

It's no 2001: A Space Odyssey, but it's way better than the DVD! If you're a fan of the movie you won't be sorry for buying this on Blu-ray!!

It has a solid soundtrack with average picture quality.

It is however definately an upgrade from the DVD in regards to picture quality.

As I said in my user review, I found it to be a fantastic upgrade, and was overwhelmingly pleased with the Blu. Great choice.

I agree with what everyone else has posted so far. Definite PQ upgrade from DVD.

It did seem a bit cheesier then when i watched it as a youth....guess that's just age talking...

Let's not forget that this movie was made during the height of 80's cheese. A lot of things from that era seem cheesy now looking back. Personally, I love it.

But the Lost Boys is actually a great horror movie regardless of a few cheddary moments (mostly involving the Coreys).

Uh...there is cheese in every decade and certainly does not need "aging". I mean dang, even P. Jackson's King Kong is cheesy.
But I digress. The Lost Boys is a great BD buy. But I thought the film was just as cheesy in the 80's as it is today. Cheese is good.

I have this on Blu and agree with everyone else. it is well worth the upgrade!
