Default Center Channel is really low

Hi, im new to these forums and i have a question about my home theatre, i currently have a Sony HT DDW900 system and its hook up to my ps3 via optical(cuz it dosent send sound thru hdmi), im happy with it action scenes sound great and loud same with music, but my center channel is really low, dialoge is low and expecially in action scences, im always turning the volume up in dialoge scences and then having to turn it down during action scence cuz its way too loud and its getting inoying, i have put up my center channel volume sepratly but still seems to be low, what do u think the problem is? is it the center speaker or is it my receiver ive heard that sony home theatre have poor sound but for the price i got it for i couldnt resist.

im going to upgrade my receiver in the future, one that decodes dolby tru hd and dts hd master to take full advantage of the blu rays i watch, but i really want to know what the problem is now, any help would be appreciate, thanks alot
