Coincidentally, I just watched the final episode earlier today, and then saw that this sale was going on. It's certainly one of the greatest TV shows, and is worth buying if you haven't seen it.

I'm debating on picking up the set, because I figure I'll re-watch the entire series at some point, and this is pretty cheap. (I only own the first season, rented the other 4 seasons over time).

Been wanting to see this for some time. Watch the sale prices hoping for a better deal and today was finally it. Can't wait to see it and hope as all the reviews are so positive it's as good as it is supposed to be.

The price wont ever get better than this, I own all 5 seasons already but am gonna sell em or give em to a friend since I have wanted this complete set since it came out. Worth every penny, one of the best shows ever to grace TV.

Anyone picking up the box set might want to invest in a box of these as well:

I have a quick question for anyone that actually has this DVD set.

Does the box set include anything that is limited only to the box set (booklet, bonus disc sort of thing with behind the scenes stuff, etc)? If so, is it anything substantial, or good?

Despite not being on blu-ray, I couldn't pass this up.

I don't own this yet, as I just bought it today, but my understanding is that it has a booklet that is only included with this set and includes 1 copy of each of the soundtracks that can be bought for the series. Hope this helps!

I've only see the first season and a half but... wow. This show is incredibly unique. I'd never seen a black comedy/drama and there's nothing like it. I mean this is a very good way.

One thing I will say though... it's a very heavy show. You'll laugh a lot but it's rarely if ever light-hearted.

I picked up Season 1 on a whim, when I saw it on sale at BestBuy back in the summer. I got hooked right away, finishing that up in probably 1 week or so. Season 2 is probably the worst of the 5, but I think the show from mid-Season 3 until the finale of Season 5 is some of the best TV in history.

I think I'll go ahead and pick up the set while it's this cheap, because I know I want to watch it all again someday, I just don't know when. At least the packaging is great, and will be nice to look at for the time being.

Sometimes it's nice to get back to the old shows.

Joss Whedon is the heart of why I love television so I'm re-watching Angel and Buffy. At first it feels like, "Why I am watching this when I know what happens?" Pretty soon you're just as enraptured with the characters and story as the first time.

This is the first DVD I've bought in over 2 1/2 years. It'll be a birthday gift for my mother but I still feel dirty thinking about SDVD. Thanks for the heads up on the sale.

Yeah. I think so much of the show was so well written that it's easy to give each episode a second or third viewing, just to get everything out of them.

I've thought about reading this book, but I'm a bit disappointed that it was published before the final season aired, so I know it doesn't cover the entire series.

I bit on this deal. Too good to pass up! I haven't even seen a single episode, but with such high praise from viewers and critics alike, I couldn't not purchase it at this price. It's not blu-ray, but I figured it would look good enough up-scaled to suit my needs.

A friend of mine mentioned the sale to me a few hours ago. Price sounded too good to pass up. Don't know if I'll like it but if I don't I can always sell it and get back what I paid for it. Don't really know much of anything about the series other than Michael C Hall is in it and there's a funeral home.

Oh I got a book sort of like that. It's about Buffy and Angel and anylzes them in the light of psychology. Stuff like that is super interesting and makes you value the show a lot more.

It also gives you more appreciation for writers. A lot of them are underrated and underpaid =/.
