Default Thoughts RockNRolla?!

How is this movie? Is it worth a blind buy or is it a rental?

Good question, I'd like to know too. I loved Lock, Stock & Snatch, but heard that this one was sort of a mess. Comments?

Not sure I'd buy it. I tried to watch it with my girlfriend, but we got kind of lost and it wasn't particularly entertaining. Kind of slow. We ended up throwing in Max Payne instead and that one was even worse.. wasn't a good movie night for us, haha.

I'll probably go back to watch it myself though. I'm a big Gerry Butler fan.

If you liked Lock, Stock and Snatch, there is no doubt you will like RockNRolla.

He has definitely returned to his twist and turn plots with hillarity and great cinematography in this one.

I would say this is right exactly on par with his first two. Revolver sucked and I never saw the one with Madonna , but this one would be well worth the purchase.

As for myself, I'll be marching inot Best Buy first thing in the morning to grab a copy.

Same here read the synpsis and appears to be interesting. I will give it a rental first, but any feedback is appreciated.

I thought it was ok. It felt more like Snatch to me.

3/5 stars.

It's not one of Guy Ritchie's better films IMO. It's definitely a hit or miss. Some like it immensely and some don't. Definitely rent first.

I actually liked the movie a lot, Its a for sure buy for me. Its a little bit slow in the beginning but about 20 or 30 minutes in it starts to get interesting. Like someone else said in this thread it is just like snatch maybe better.
