Default Capcom :Problems Making DMC4 Identical on 360, PS3

Check this out article regarding DMC4 on the 360 from the Gamepro website .....

We can probably say with decent confidence that Capcom didn't have Xbox 360 in mind when they originally started putting together Devil May Cry 4 for PlayStation 3, but the company's western success on the platform made them rethink their strategy a bit. Now, DMC4 is a simultaneous PS3 and Xbox 360, but given PS3's the lead platform and a distinctly different piece of hardware, fears of a rushed port come to mind.

I remember the CEO of Capcom mention that he had an appreciation of the power of the PS3 when he sees how DMC4 runs. I can see the game running smoother at a consistent 60fps compare to the 360 version.

Consistent 60fps without tearing it looks like already in the PS3 version.

Dead Rising and Lost Planet run at a sometimes shakey 30fps WITH tearing.

Just read in the new PSM (june issue) that the PS3 version will have shorter load times than the 360 due to its installed HDD,They also went on to say that it will run at 720p@60fps,30fps will produce better graphics but DMC4 runs so fast that it needs 60fps.

Maybe minimal six-axis functionality.

Of course it's going to be better on the PS3. I'll take 60fps over 30fps anyday. It's a known fact that the PS3 is a much more capable hardware platform with the ability to multithread which means more action
(simultaneously executed algorithms) without slowing down or stuttering and it's already known that the PS3 has greater rendering distances such is the case with Elder Scroll IV: Oblivion. Oh and the sixaxis controller.

Since DMC4 is a PS3 title it will be telling to see what compromises are made to fit it onto a Xbox 360.
