This was one of my most eagerly awaited next gen games . . . Indiana Jones has now been the source of my biggest film and gaming disappointments in the last year. Guess I'll have to dust off my PSP.

I remember seeing a preview/tech demo a while ago about the AI and physics they were working on for it, it looked like it was going to be a pretty interesting game.

I heard it just got delayed until the 4th quater of this year not cancelled.

Looks like this will be coming to PS2. Yes, in 2009, a brand new Indiana Jones game which, I would imagine should be a fairly big deal, will be making a huge splash on the cutting edge PS2. Blows my mind.

They were making a brand new game for the wii. The PS2 is probably the port of that.

It was originally a "next-gen"-only game. Don't know why they decided to take a step backwards. The original trailers they put out a few years ago were awesome. The new ones . . . not so much. For 29.99 I'll probably still pick it up. It'll probably still be more entertaining than Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Issue is, could they make it as good as Uncharted is, because it would be rated against that if released on PS3.

Just a theory of course.

1) Their last published game Fracture tanked.
2) The latest Indiana Jones movie left horrid mixed feelings amongst fans.
3) Movie based games tend to be subpar + reason 2^^
4) The WI's success is having an negative effect on next-gen consoles in general.
5) Economy + 2nd hand market for games plays a role.

Too many next-gen games being/been cancelled, I noticed.
